So, what can you do to find inspiration every day? Let’s look at five tips you can put into practice.
Switch your environment
Many times, it’s the space you’re “stuck” in that could be causing you to feel uninspired. If you feel happy at home, that’s great! But, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t change up your environment, even within your own four walls.
Try rearranging furniture, adding a new coat of paint, or switching up your artwork to something unique from a cultural artist like Malika Garrett.
If you feel like your rut has to do with your home, don’t be afraid to get out. Go to your favorite cafe, a park, or any place that makes you feel content and creative.
Speaking of going to your favorite park, getting out in nature is a great way to feel more inspired and more at peace with yourself. Studies have shown that simply being outside can boost your energy levels and your mood.
Sometimes, a lack of inspiration comes from being stressed and exhausted. Spending even a few minutes outdoors can make a difference.
Learn a new skill
Imagine how inspired you might be to hone in on your craft if you know that you can learn something new.

Sign up for a class, either in-person or online, and learn how to do something you may have never thought possible. Learning something new will help you feel a sense of accomplishment, and can motivate you in almost every other area of your life.
Many times, a lack of inspiration comes from a lack of clear goals. Create a list for yourself of everything you want to accomplish. If you’re more of a visual person, create a vision board, instead.
When you can actually sit down and see the things you’re working toward, you’re more likely to feel motivated to reach those goals. You’ll recognize that you have a purpose, and that will fuel your inspiration.
Be more mindful
Mindfulness is a word that gets thrown around a lot lately, but it’s more than just a buzzword or catchy marketing term.
It actually refers to focusing on the present moment, and how you’re feeling. Thoughts will come and go, but you won’t hang onto them when you’re in a mindful state. That can alleviate worry and make you more focused, relaxed, and inspired.
