LOOK: This Journal Records Your 5 Years in One Liners

A new year is coming up, which means it’s time for me to start planning my planners for 2021 (lol). I know I mentioned in this post that I’ll have two but I’m going to add a third one for next year. This new one is so good that I thought it’s worth adding to my collection.

This new one is Hi, Passion’s 1 Line Journal, which encourages you to write one line per day. Sounds easy, right? That’s the point. This journal is supposed to take the pressure of writing an entire page of thoughts out the window. It makes sense because we spend most of our lives at home and many of us go through the same thing over and over. So with one line, you can simply put “I finished Schitt’s Creek for the third time today.” “My dog and I played the whole day.” And you’re done.

What makes Hi, Passion’s 1 Line Journal even more special is that it’s worth five years. Each page is dedicated to a specific day and you’re supposed to write your highlights for the next five years. When you’re done, you can see all of your thoughts and feelings on that day from 2021 to 2025.

I think it’s a great concept. I’ve been keeping planners and journals since 2005 but each year is a separate book. So while I can tell you what I felt on September 14, 2006, I will have to open several books to compare my September 14 in 2006 and 2016. With this 1 Line Journal, everything is on one page.

Apart from the one-line feature, Hi, Passion’s journal also has space for yearly goals, important dates, a space for all your passwords, and dotted pages for bullet journal enthusiasts.

I’ll be using this as my gratitude journal for 2021 to 2025. I think it’s great to see all the things I’m grateful for that day for the next five years. I’m still going to use my Hobo for general planning and the Starbucks Youthberry as a planner for my blog.

Hi, Passion’s 1 Line Journal is available in four colors: black, grey, brown, and yellow. It comes in a compact size so you can bring it anywhere. The brand also has a checklist you can separately buy in pink, yellow, and white. It’s made from recycled paper so it’s good for the environment!

You can buy the 1 Line Journal and the checklists on the Hi, Passion website.

  • Hi. I have been curious with this journal. If I may ask, does this lay flat when you try to write on it?
