Here’s How I Got to Eat Out Without Cash Using PayMaya

Using cash can be a hassle sometimes. I almost always never have enough so I have to look for an ATM, withdraw, and go back to wherever I came from. There’s also the danger of carrying big amounts, especially for a commuter such as myself. I’ve never experienced forgetting my wallet, but that’s another thing to think about when dealing with money. To be honest, it’s too much for an overthinking person like me!

Late last month, I got to experience the convenience of having a Paymaya account. Through its campaign Don’t Pay Cash, Paymaya, I was able to have dinner with friends without having to use cash or even a debit or credit card. I just used my phone.

It’s easy. At the Eattogether Food Hall in Capitol Commons, which is the first cashless food hall in the country powered by PayMaya, you can simply order using any of the TV screens and use the Paymaya app to bill out. I didn’t need to withdraw money, look for my wallet, or even bring out any of my cards. I just needed to use something that I have in my hand all the time: my smartphone.

Using my Paymaya account is one of the best ways to do my everyday transactions. Not only can I pay for products and services using my app, but I can also use it to send money, buy load, and get discount and promo vouchers. Loading my account is also much easier as I can simply add money from my bank or by linking my credit or debit card.

Paymaya is secure, too. You can add an extra layer of protection by upgrading your account through a selfie and AI technology. If you want a physical card, you can apply for one, too.

Now, I don’t have to worry about all the possible things that could happen when handling cash. I don’t have to pay cash. I can Paymaya!
