Creatives are in for a different kind of forum this June. B+Abble: A Series of Talks on Contemporary Arts and Design, encourages people to think outside the box in their fields of expertise, helping them approach their craft in new and exciting ways.
B+Abble 2019 will be happening on June 22, Saturday, 12-6PM at the PETA Theater in Quezon City.
Four exciting personalities will be taking the stage to impart their creative insights including Silly People’s Improv Theater (SPIT) founder Gabe Mercado, visual artist and sculptor Jinggoy Buensuceso, interior design director of Mañosa & Co. and founder of Awit At Laro Bambi Mañosa, and Javier Design Studio Manila (JDSM) founder, Arch. Joseph Javier.
Now in its 5th edition, the annual forum will be focusing on unorthodox design methods, social empowerment, and communicating effectively and efficiently with topics such as The Joy of Improv: The Improvisational Mindset as a Key to the Creative Economy, Changing the Landscape of Philippine Art & Design, Awit at Laro: Celebrating the Spirit of Play Through Music, Art, Dance and Culture, and The Design of Purpose.
Participants can also look forward to special musical performances by R&B and soul singer Bea Lorenzo, and experimental OPM and jazz duo Project Yazz.
B+Abble is organized by Buensalido + Architects, leaders in the local design industry, and aims to give creatives from every field a platform to exchange ideas and improve on their craft. Architects can also earn 4 CPD points by participating in the forum.
Tickets are priced at P800, P500 for members of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Alabang Chapter, and P350 for students, who must present a valid school ID upon registration.
