Alba Restaurante Español Opens in Estancia

For traditional Spanish cuisine, foodies head to Alba Restaurante Español. Now, those living and working in Pasig have a new place to dine because the Castilian restaurant opened its latest branch in Estancia, Capitol Commons.

Since 1952, Alba has satisfied generations of discerning food lovers enamored by the enticing flavors of Spanish cuisine. The restaurant was founded by Señor Anastacio de Alba with his son Chef Miguel, who mastered the paella and the restaurant’s 19 varieties. There’s the classic Valenciana, new flavors such as Verde for vegetarians, and everything in between: Negra, Filipino, de Pato, Pollo Finas Hierbas, de Verduras, de Gambas, Arroz a la Regencia, de Cordero, Marinera, de Bacalao, de Langostinos, de Cangrejo, Tuhod y Batoc, Setas y Pesto, and Fideua.

Other favorites are Spanish mainstays such as Callos, Lengua, and Cochinillo. Their selection of 55 cold and hot tapas such as chorizos, Alcachofas con Jamon, Gambas al Ajillo, Champignon a la Plancha, and Tabla de Embutidos have also become some of the restaurant’s greatest hits.

The new restaurant evokes a contemporary and cozy Spanish feel with traditional lamps, decorative plates, murals, and a stone wall reminiscent of Avila in Spain.

The branch is located on the 2nd floor of Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons, Ortigas Malls’ premiere lifestyle hub in the East.
