If you’re looking for a unique dining concept in Manila, I suggest you visit Grand Hyatt Manila’s The Peak, Bonifacio Global City’s highest restaurant, bar, and grill. Situated in the highest building in the city, you get an incredible view of Manila while you eat delicious food in a luxurious atmosphere.
I was able to get a sneak peek of The Peak (now that’s a tongue twister) and the first thing you’ll notice is the beauty of the place. The restaurant is inspired by penthouse living, with each room flowing seamlessly into the next while still maintaining its singular characteristics. One room is a grill restaurant, while another is a whiskey bar. There are quiet corners where friends and lovers can go for a more private experience. For those who enjoy the bustle of a dining destination, the open kitchen is a stage. There’s also a music lounge where guests can watch the international band Legacy perform dance hits.
Food choices vary at The Peak. There are all kinds of steaks, from Australian grass-fed beef to wagyu beef. There’s foie gras, lamb, tiger prawns, and salads. They are best paired with fine wines and rare whiskeys, which are available all around the place. Going here is an adventure because there are so many places to explore. After all, The Peak occupies the 60th to the 62nd floor!
Whether you’re in a lively mood or you want a quiet respite with your loved ones, there’s something for you at The Peak. My suggestion is to move from room to room to enjoy the whole place, until you find the space that suits the evening best.
