After a few fits and starts, the Metro Rail Transit line-3 (MRT-3) is off to a good run with 12 deployed trains today. The increase in operating trains is a result of continued repairs.
At the same time, the interval time between trains is now down to seven minutes.
According to media relations officer Aly Narvaez, the number of operating trains went up because of the arrival of needed spare parts.
An increase to 15 trains during rush hour after the Holy Week break is being eyed. The operations will stop from Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday.
