The films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are spaced apart so fans are lucky that the MCU is also developing shows that have the same level of action, storytelling, and quality. One of the shows I’m looking forward to seeing is Jessica Jones and the second season is coming up soon!
To tide everyone over until its release, Netflix released a new trailer for the show:
Jessica Jones follows the titular character as she quits the superhero life to start a detective agency. The show premiered in 2015 to critical acclaim, with Forbes and IndieWire calling it the best show on TV. Forbes even went as far as saying that “If you haven’t seen the new Marvel-Netflix series Jessica Jones, then do yourself a favor: stop whatever you’re doing and stream the entire first season right now.”
In the upcoming second season, we get to see the brash Jones try to explore how she got to be what she is as she investigates a new villain. And to celebrate the butt-kicking heroine, Jessica Jones‘ new season will be available for streaming on Netflix on March 8, which is also International Women’s Day.
Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jones and she will be joined by Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others.
This story is in partnership with Netflix. For more information on Jessica Jones, visit its Netflix page or follow its Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
