After the eruption of Mayon Volcano in Albay, Davao City is giving P4.5 million to help displaced families in the affected barangays.
A total of 20,477 families or 79,757 individuals have been affected by the eruption.
According to Davao City Vice Mayor Bernard Al-Ag Jr., the city is processing the check and will be sent next week.
The municipalities that will receive assistance are Camalig, Daraga, Guinobatan, Malilipot, Sto. Domingo, Bagacay, and cities of Ligao, Tabaco, and Legaspi. Each municipality will receive P500,000.
